Dear Students (and Parents),
On tomorrow (9/14/05), the Period 3A students will receive their progress reports. The Period 4B students received theirs on today.
Students, it is imperative that you share your progress report with your parent/guardian. You must get them signed, and must return them to class quickly. I will be expecting them on the next class meeting.
Students whose progress reports are signed and returned on the appropriate day (3A: 9/16, 4B: 9/15) will receive points. THIS IS AN ASSIGNMENT GRADE...NOT BONUS. If any student fails to return the progress report on the appropriate date (or with a signed excuse) will receive a grade of zero.
The rational for having progress reports signed and returned is to ensure that there is continued communication between home and school.
Sincerely,
Larry J. Knight, Jr.
Instructor of Language Arts
