Apologies and Restitution

Dear parents of Pre-AP English I (Period 4B) students,

In my haste, today (8/25) I neglected to distribute the handout indicating which passages in the short story "The Lady, or the Tiger" that students were assigned to annotate for homework.

Therefore, on tomorrow (8/26), I will locate your child and place a hard copy in his or her hand so that they will have every opportunity to complete the assignment before its deadline on Monday afternoon.

In the meantime, I am placing another copy of the assigned passages in this post. The passages were placed in a previous post entitled 'Homework Assignments (as of August 24, 2005)'. Please encourage your child to complete the assignment in a timely manner. It will be graded, so it is imperative that they follow the specified standards and guidelines.

Thank you,

Larry J. Knight, Jr.
Instructor of Language Arts
