1. Obtain (e.g. buy or borrow) a copy of Into the Wild (Krakauer); when you receive the book please begin reading Chapters 1-9. Use your pre-existing annotation skills to annotate the book. BOOK DUE ASAP, READING DUE 9/11

C. Students should conduct a nightly/daily review of the rules of grammar. Students will be expected to show adequate mastery and knowledge of all rules.
D. Bring materials/supplies to class; this includes copies of literary works studied, paper, pens, notebooks, writing journals, etc. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
E. You should conduct a nightly/daily review of the course orientation notes. You will be expected to show adequate mastery and knowledge of all course policies and procedures.
