BULLETIN: New Commentary Codes (PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Here are several NEW commentary codes. Please ADD them to your commentary code sheet.

[C]10: Student has unnecessarily defined a term in their writing.

[C]11: Student has made an factual content error in their commentary

[C]12: NO ORIGNAL CONTENT (Student has recycled content, or re-used content in a new assignment)*

*NOTE: THIS CODE COMES WITH AN AUTOMATIC DEDUCTION OF 25 POINTS.

[C]13: LEVEL 1 COMMENTARY (Student has made a LEVEL 1 comment)

[C]14: LEVEL 2 COMMENTARY (Student has made a LEVEL 2 comment)

[C]15: Student has provided little or no commentary illustrating effect, impact, and value

[C]16: Student's commentary is simply retelling the story or restating the liteary work; student has made an elementary comment

[C]17: Student's comments require a greater degree of clarity

[C]18: Student's commentary has missed an important detail
